Sant Pere Pescador stretches for kilometres of open sand at the mouth of the Fluvia, catching the tramuntana and the sea breezes that make the Bay of Roses one of the Mediterranean's best kite spots. Shallow water, space, and a cluster of schools make it ideal to learn and to progress.
In season: Apr–Oct · Peak: May–Sep
Steady thermal and tramuntana wind over shallow, forgiving water with plenty of room; it works spring through autumn. Busy on windy weekends, but the beach is long enough to absorb it.
Base in Sant Pere Pescador at one of the beach kite camps. Lessons and gear hire are on the sand; check whether the forecast is thermal or the stronger tramuntana.
