The Frontales walls give hundreds of well-bolted routes at grades everyone can enjoy, with steep tufas in the gorge for the strong — all under the famous Caminito walkway. It is the go-to winter crag in the south.
In season: Oct–Apr · Peak: Nov–Feb
Sun-warmed slabs and vertical walls, plus a few steep test-pieces; approaches are short. Weekends and holidays get busy, and the rock can be polished on the classics.

Fly to Málaga, 45 minutes away, and stay in El Chorro village. A single-pitch sport rack and 70 m rope cover most of it; guides run the multi-pitch and via ferrata.
