Why go

Ordesa is the Yosemite of the Pyrenees — a glacier-cut trench walled by 1,000 m cliffs, with the classic Faja ledges traversing the canyon rim. Monte Perdido adds a real high summit above it.

What to expect

High-season access is shuttle-only from Torla; private cars are turned away. The Faja de las Flores has exposed ladders, and Monte Perdido from Góriz is a long glacier-worn day needing an early start.

How to start

Take the shuttle from Torla to the Pradera de Ordesa. For Monte Perdido, book the Góriz refuge months ahead — beds are the limiting factor, not the climb.
