What to expect

Moderate valley and gorge walking with swimming pools in the reserve; the Neveros path over to the Ambroz is a longer, harder day. Spring blossom is the draw, summer the pools.

Base in Jerte or Cabezuela. The Garganta de los Infiernos from the visitor centre is the classic; come in late March-April for the blossom.
