Easy, family-friendly viewpoints and short dehesa walks — no skill needed, just optics and timing. Spring, February to June, is peak, with the birds on the nest and the cork-oak parkland alive.

How to start

Base in Torrejón el Rubio or Trujillo. Bring binoculars and a scope; the Salto del Gitano and Castillo viewpoints are the two you cannot miss, best at first light.
