The Mała Panew flows through deep pine forest with a pale sand bed you can see through the water, overhanging trees, small beaches and almost no building along the banks. It is an easy, beautiful river for a first multi-day trip.
In season: May–Sep · Peak: Jun–Aug
Calm, shallow water with a gentle current, fallen trees to steer around and plenty of places to stop and swim. The upper section is the prettiest; the lower meanders are slower and quieter.
Sandy-bottomed river through pine forest, the classic run
Slower lower section with meanders and beaches
Hire a kayak with transport in Krupski Młyn or Kolonowskie. Paddle the classic Krupski Młyn to Kolonowskie run first, and stay at the farm guesthouses along the way.
