Why go

Góra Świętej Anny rises from the Silesian plain as the remains of an ancient volcano, now topped by a Franciscan sanctuary and a Calvary of chapels. Its old basalt quarry has become a geopark, and the hill was the site of a famous battle in the Silesian Uprisings.
