Why go

The Great Loop of Wielkopolska links the Warta, the Noteć, the Bydgoszcz Canal and the Gopło and Ślesin lakes in a navigable ring through the old heartland of the Polish state. It passes historic towns, quiet locks and reed-fringed lakes, and you can join any section for a few days or take on the whole circuit.
