Why go

The Camí de Ronda is the footpath that traces the whole Costa Brava, once walked by fishermen and coastguards and now one of the finest coastal walks in the Mediterranean. It links stone-stepped headlands, turquoise coves you can only reach on foot, and fishing villages that still feel like themselves.

What to expect

Undulating cliff-path walking on stone steps and dirt, with frequent swims and village stops; some stretches are rough and exposed above the sea. Spring and autumn avoid the summer crowds and heat.
