Every September highliners from around the world gather on Monte Piana, a flat-topped mountain above Misurina scarred with First World War trenches, and rig hundreds of lines across its gaps and towers. It is the biggest highline gathering on earth, with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo as the backdrop.
In season: Jun–Sep · Peak: Sep
A week of camping, rigging and walking lines of every length, from short beginner lines to very long, exposed ones. Mountain weather and cold nights are part of it.
Register for the meeting months ahead and bring your own harness and leash. Walk shorter lines first with experienced riggers, and only rig your own lines if you have been trained in anchors and backups.
