The Supraśl runs clear and shallow over pale sand through the Knyszyn Forest, past the monastery town that shares its name. It is the classic easy paddle near Białystok, with a narrow, overgrown upper river for more of a challenge.
In season: May–Sep · Peak: Jun–Aug
Gentle current and clear water on the standard run, with fallen trees and tight bends on the upper river. Levels drop in dry summers.
Clear forest river with a sandy bed, the standard run
Narrow and overgrown, more obstacles than water
Hire a kayak with transport in Supraśl. Paddle Supraśl to Wasilków first, and try the upper river from Kopna Góra when the water is higher.
