There is a park fee at the trailheads, and the season for the interesting lines is summer, June to September. The Perć Akademików scramble closes in winter and after heavy rain, so check at the park office in Zawoja before committing to it — the alternative meadow routes are gentler.
Come with the layers and judgement for fast-changing weather on an exposed summit, and start early to be off the top before afternoon build-up. This is intermediate-to-advanced hill walking with a scramble option, best over two days with a night in Zawoja.
